The P-CMR[C] Clinical Translation Office is physical located in the Germans Trias i Pujol Campus, in close proximity to the Cardiology Clinical Trials Unit.
The Can Ruti Campus includes several of the reference institutions in biomedicine in Catalonia: the Germans Trias Hospital, a public hospital that offers highly complex and integrated healthcare to the citizens of the North Barcelona and Maresme areas; the Guttmann Institute, monographic hospital for rehabilitation treatment; the Medical School of the Autonomous University of Barcelona; the Germans Trias health research Institute (IGTP) where the research of the hospital is carried out; the Centre for Comparative Medicine and Bioimage (CMCiB) which is the center for translational medicine of the IGTP; and several other research institutions like the Catalan Institute of Oncology, the Josep Carreras Leukemia Research Institute and the Institute of Predictive and Personalized Medicine of Cancer, all dedicated to cancer research, and IrsiCaixa and Centre for Epidemiological Studies on STI and HIV/AIDS research or the Blood and Tissue Bank.
More than 3,000 professionals work on the campus, located on the National Park of the Serralada de Marina just outside Barcelona, and their objective is to provide excellent healthcare closely aligned with research, innovation, teaching and training.
